I've had a few states come to me recently because MSIX/OME is complaining about their values for MSIX MDE 52 Assessment Type:

Historically, State Assessments were given an Assessment Type of 01, but now OME would like to see used the more granular values of 09 - State Assessment - Mathematics, 10 - State Assessment - Reading or Language Arts, and 11 - State Assessment - English Language Proficiency. And it seems that this is being prominently featured in data quality reports from MSIX.

I think, at this point, every state that is manually entering Assessment data has the ability to specify these new Assessment Type values in their code tables. If you would like help getting that done, just let us know.

For the states that are bringing in their Assessment data via imports, they will almost certainly have to work with the team that is producing the data that MIS2000 consumes. Once that team reworks their process that produces the data, there really shouldn't need to be any changes on the MIS2000 side.
