Some time back we introduced support for adding log entries directly to student records in the web app for Michigan. It looks like this:
You just type a new note into the "New Entry" area and hit "Save Changes". The note will be timestamped and tagged with who entered it and then appear in the "Student Notes" area. You should just be able to visit the Student Search in the Michigan demo here, Click on "Edit Student" like so:
And then play around with that student's log. I think only Michigan has this functionality, but we can do it for any state pretty easily. Just let us know.
